All classes must be paid for when you sign up for class. If class is canceled by Homestead Quilts You will be reimbursed in the manor in which you paid. You must give a 72 hour cancellation notice to receive a store credit. Supply list available when you sign up for class.

HORSIN' AROUND
February 4 Saturday, 10am - 4pm Free
If you've ever said, "I really would like to make this quilt, but I just can't find the time," or "I want to make this quilt, but I don't know how to get started" This is the class to take. "FREE SEW DAY" for working on the quilt called "Horsin' Around". It is a 82 X 88 inch with several appliqued horses. You can work at your own pace and if you need help or moral support this is the place to meet. Pattern needs to be purchased at Homestead Quilts. You will get a 10% discount on other supplies for the class.

BEGINNING KNITTING
February 7 & 21 Tuesday, 10am - 1pm $20
Come learn to knit several different stitches and end up with a lovely scarf. Jean is an excellent teacher and you will enjoy learning from her. You will need Size 8 needles and worsted weight yarn. Jean can assist you in picking the supplies you need. Ask about your discount.

WORKING WITH WOOL

Here is the first of our series of wool classes. Jean Stuart will show the different types of wool and how to handle them. In class you will make a large scissor holder. Please bring hand sewing supplies with you. The wool will be provided.

SERGER I IS HERE AGAIN
February 25 Saturday, 10am - 3pm $30
Brenda Kessler is back to teach Serger I. You need this class if your Serger is sitting in a closet not being used. Get it out and come to class. You will learn Threading, Tension Adjustments, Needle and knife Placement and Preventive Maintenance. After this bonding experience, you will move on to Serger II and do more sewing. Brenda has years of experience and will work with you until you are happily serging.

MAGIC SQUARES TABLE RUNNER
February 29 Wednesday, 10am - 3pm $30
A couple of colors of fabric, make your squares, cut and mix them up and you end with a great table runner. In the end, it is a 3-D optical illusion. Pattern is included in class fee. Come in and we will help you pick out fabric.

Jean will teach you the art of Crocheting from start to finish. You will learn the technique and many different stitches and be immediately successful making small items such as dish clothes and pot holders for yourself and gifts. A supply list will be available.

CHENILLE SCARF

The Chenille Scarf is made with woven's or Homespun's using a layered technique. You will layer, sew, and trim with a Chenille cutter and end up with a soft wonderful 61/2 X 72 inch scarf. The magic happens in the washer and dryer. Purchase pattern, fabric and supplies and the class is free.
